Production 3 "Final Changes"

     In this week of my production I had made some changes to the countries that I would like to incorporate. As in my first draft I stated that I wanted to input a whole group of the same people from the same country I realized that it was not a very pleasant idea because there would be no room to fit in the feature article unless I put their answers all in one section and to me, that sounded more like a thrown together last minute which is not what I would hope my magazine would represent. Instead, I decided to take one person from each of the different countries and input their own detailed thoughts and opinions as if you were talking to a friend because that's all the matters is the feeling that the magazine can prepare for travels and what to expect from a viewpoint that may inspire you.

    Another thing that I did that I feel is the most important incorporation is that I decided to take one boy and one girl from each column and do that instead of chunks of girls and chunks of boys so that evenly divides everything that I need to ensure that I am going to be successful in order to prepare myself for the big put together in this magazine. One big aspect that was brought to my attention was the fact that I had too much people in the first place and in my magazine cover you wouldn't be able to read the masthead along with the subheadings if I input everybody on the front cover page. I also got my camera in check and played around with it so I can see if I wanna use a long angle shot, wide angle shot, close up shots, etc. To cover this week up that is most of what I did was make changes to my masterpiece and play around with my camera before the upcoming photoshoot the next day that went remarkably well and everyone had an amazing time shooting and in all the pictures and scenery make the magazine what it is which is what I needed the outcome to be. Although, there was some struggles to get the photos to match the font and style of the magazine I believe I am in a comfortable situation.

Peer Review

 When presenting my magazine to my peers I got many types of feedback along with many new ideas to help me perfect my magazine. Throughout they seemed to love my picture choices especially my cover picture that I had with the three girls all next to each other and I changed that color and tone of that photo to be black and white but there was also many room for improvement and I am willing to work on that. For the cover page it was suggested that I make smaller text on the title page pop out more and the use of a copper color was to be put into effect to make it do so and the place where I have "what to expect in the fashion industry worldwide" on the upper right hand corner was suggested to be moved under the lining of the girl on the far right's shirt. Another good suggestion was to put all the text in red which was all the stuff that was under my masthead and place them on the bottom of the magazine so I have more room to show the background image, they also commented ...

Magazine Cover Review

       When assessing this article of the different types of covers on magazines there are many different varieties of brands and how they put th eir Magazines together.  When viewing th e different magazine  covers,  I felt like there was  many different varieties  of magazines and their covers.  When  seeing these  magazines in class I noticed that some magazines have been around for a while. An example of this  is “ Rolling Stone” magazine. This magazine featured Travis Scott which  is a good attention grabber for the younger audience and it’s more likely for that generation to want to read that magazine oppose to  “Southern Living” where the focus is more on baking and cooking  recipes . Post Production 1- Editing

 The focus on my editing I accomplished the use of Adobe photoshop and InDesign. I have watched videos for both softwares and played around with it so that when I go and input my work and pictures I have some sort of idea on what I am doing. I changed my masthead color from red to a tan color and the coverline was moved below the person all the way to the right on the cover. The typography I changed was throughout my magazine because they were all different fonts and I narrowed it down to three so it doesn't look spread out. At first when I was working with InDesign it didn't work well on what I wanted it to but, after I spent some time fidgeting I was able to first, put together a mimic magazine and then after I put it all together.
